West Liberty Youth Dream Catchers

West Liberty Youth Dream Catchers is a nonprofit program dedicated to empowering local youth to pursue higher education through early support, mentoring, and long-term commitment. Beginning in third grade, the program selects students from qualifying families for the Dream Catchers Scholarship, which supports them through high school graduation and prepares them for college success.

Dream Catchers offers three core programs:

• Individual mentoring for scholarship recipients
• Group mentoring open to all West Liberty students
• College scholarship earned upon graduation from West Liberty High School with program participation.

Through weekly mentoring, guest speakers, field trips, and partnerships such as the University of Iowa Upward Bound program, Dream Catchers helps students build confidence, improve academic performance, and envision a future that includes post-secondary education.
