Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre

The Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art of puppetry through high-quality performances, workshops, and creative events. The company is committed to educating the public about the arts, serving as a center for the exchange of ideas, and enhancing the quality of community life.

Eulenspiegel Puppets operates out of the Owl Glass Puppet Theatre, located at 319 N. Calhoun St., and has truly become an icon of West Liberty. Founded in 1974, the Puppet Company celebrated 50 years of dedicated performance in 2024. Every year it organizes the West Liberty Children's Festival, one of West Liberty's biggest events of the year.

It's also known for its annual Puppets and Pastries, Dessert Theatre, the many, many puppet shows created and put on by Monica Leo and her crew at the company, as well as the puppet Company's deeply rooted connections to other puppet companies around the United State and the world!
